Therapy starts with the foundational belief that the person is not the problem; the problem is the problem.

Dr. Carrie focuses on helping clients, both individuals and organizations, to improve their habits, become more psychologically flexible and gain the tools to skillfully manage issues and better identify values and characteristics associated with living and working your best life.

Dr. Carrie has been in the therapy field since 1994, becoming a Licensed Psychologist in 2003. She has her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado, Masters from the University of Denver and Bachelors from the University of Virginia. She has a broad background, including 20 years owning her own private practice, a decade of speaking experience, 12 years in community mental health and a history of teaching for the University of Northern Colorado. Dr. Carrie currently splits her professional time between individual therapy, treating anxiety and trauma, and doing consulting and training on team performance improvement for businesses.
