Join host, Regina Barr, and author, Annie Meehan, for a 30 minute informational interview as they discuss the books, Be the Exeception and The Pineapple Principle, on Thursday, December 12th at 12 noon CST.
Everyone knows that it’s hard to stay motivated and optimistic in difficult times. But that is the rule, and author Annie Meehan wants to you be the exception.
Be the Exception: Your 7 Steps to Transformation outlines seven steps to break out of cycles of negativity, anger, and feelings of worthlessness. It gives you concrete strategies to deal with the negative fallout from issues like abuse, mental illness, and financial hardship. The beginning of the journey back to your true self means the end of exhaustion and unhappiness. The path to personal transformation means being honest and compassionate with yourself. It means accepting that you were put on Earth to do something big, and that you have all the tools inside of yourself to get there. It means giving yourself everything you need to grow in the direction of your destiny.
Author Annie Meehan wants to revolutionize your life with one simple question: What does a pineapple mean to you? This book for self-transformation asks us to reconstruct our self-image with a metaphor that is approachable and uplifting. In The Pineapple Principle, Meehan shows us that in a world where tough skin can be a necessity, it is still possible to remain soft and sweet on the inside. When something as natural, likable, and unique as a pineapple becomes the symbol for opening up and connecting with our emotional depth, we feel welcomed to face the world as ourselves. We will stand up tall, wear our crowns, and open up to the truth of our juicy inner lives. The Pineapple Principle offers an accessible, fun, and sweet journey to empowerment.
