He became sensitive to the needs of those in his network who expressed dissatisfaction in how they were showing up at their Zoom meetings and mentored them on effective video conferencing and equipment options. The positive feedback he received inspired him to launch a consultancy focused on helping businesspeople leverage video to increase their watchability, credibility, and impact.
Patrick’s commitment to excellence in his craft is reflected in his workshops and coaching programs, in which he brings the challenges of producing good video to light, guiding professionals to be their best in front of the camera while maximizing the return on their technology spend.
Patrick McGowan, has said, “I was tired of looking like a potato on video.” So, he founded Punchn in 2020 to solve the mystery behind what it means for business professionals to show up on camera with credibility and presence. He is also a speaker, author, and entrepreneur advising executives and consultants on how to use filmmaking, innovation, and change leadership to address complex business challenges. He currently lives in South Dakota with his wife, Bobbi, and their mutt, Jet.
